설교제목: 진리는 무엇인가?
설교본문: 요한복음 8장 낭독
The eighth chapter of the gospel according to st. John. We read these words: "Then said jesus to those which believed on him "if ye continue in my word "then are ye my disciples indeed. "And ye shall know the truth "and the truth shall make you free. "They answered him, we be abraham's seed, "and were never in bondage to any man: How sayest thou, "ye shall be made free? "Jesus answered them, verily, verily, I say unto you, "whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin." Then I want you to turn with me to the 18th chapter of john, the 18th of john, beginning at the 36th verse for another text: "Jesus answered," he's talking to pilate now in the judgment hall. "My kingdom is not of this world. "If my kingdom were of this world, "then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered "but now is my kingdom not from hence. "Pilate therefore said unto him art thou a king then? "Jesus answered, thou sayest that I am a king. "To this end was I born, "and for this cause came I into the world, "that I should bear witness unto the truth. "Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice. "Pilate saith unto him, what is truth?" What is truth?
설교시작 기도
when jesus comes to stay I'm going to ask that we bow in prayer. Every head bowed and every eye closed in prayer. Come holy spirit, convict, consecrate, convert. Blow as the wind. Reveal as the light. Burn as the fire. And may we see no one save jesus tonight for we ask it in his name, amen.
